For most cars, an A/C recharge

will do it at $20 off that price. It is only going to cost
you $80 to get your A/C ready for the summer heat.

Thank you for subscribing.
Winter seems to be behind us as we are headed into a beautiful spring.
We have undergone some major changes at Pfefferle Tire & Auto but our
great service is remains the same. We have three new technicians that
I would like to welcome and introduce you to. DJ, George, and Zeke have
all joined our staff and we are excited about the changes. Team Pfefferle
is back and better than ever before. To meet our new techs, check out
our
website where the pictures have been
updated.
Zeke, our new quick lube and brake tech, turns 31 on April 11, happy
birthday. I turn 25 on April 2nd.
It may not be to hot outside yet, but it is better to get a jump on
having your air conditioning recharged. If you’re A/C was starting to
get weak last summer, now is a perfect time to bring it in. For most
cars, an A/C recharge runs around $100 + Tax. For the month of April
only, I will do it at $20 off that price. It is only going to cost you
$80 to get your A/C up and running again.
With spring comes rain. Rain unfortunately brings accidents. A
well maintained tire can help you maintain the safety and performance
of your vehicle during wet road conditions. How are your tires? Stop
in for a free tire inspection. If you need new tires, I can give you
an estimate in less than two minutes, it’s that easy.
Also, be on the lookout for some exciting new promotions from Valvoline.
Beginning in May, you have a chance to get your hands on a cool “lake
racer.” It is an inflatable raft, but it isn’t cheap. Retail price on
these things is around $20 a raft. It will be the perfect thing for
your child to have come swimming season. All you need to purchase is
any one of our flush services and you will receive your very own “lake
racer.”
I also want to make sure everyone knows that we are offering free Enterprise
rent-a-car with a purchase which exceeds $200. We are also now selling
custom wheels.
Thanks for reading; and if you have any questions, concerns, complaints,
or to just drop us a line, do not hesitate to call

FINDING A SHOP YOU CAN TRUST
Source: Automotive Service Association (ASA)
How do you find a shop you can trust to service your vehicle—one that
will make you feel confident about your choice and provide quality repairs
at a fair price? Here are some tips:
Start with the most obvious. Is the facility neat and clean? Are employees
genuinely concerned with your questions and are their answers direct,
to the point and reasonable?
Look at the credentials of the business and the employees who will service
your vehicle. Most shops will post educational certifications or accomplishments
and professional business affiliations in their waiting areas. Some
affiliations to look for include trade association membership, such
as the Automotive Service Association (ASA), and membership in the Better
Business Bureau (BBB). Look for certification or education offered by
the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE), the
Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair (I-CAR) and the Automotive
Management Institute (AMI).
Ask about the equipment used to diagnose and perform the service. Is
it up-to-date and are the technicians educated in the proper equipment
use?
Make sure a written estimate is provided prior to letting the business
begin the repair. A good rule of thumb is to request approval on any
changes to the original estimate that exceed 10 percent.
Ask about the shop's warranty. Most automotive service facilities will
warranty their parts and labor either in writing or in shop posted announcements.
Ask family, friends and neighbors for their recommendations. Word-of-mouth
referrals are the shop's best form of advertising.
Always consult the vehicle owner's manual
for individual service schedules as manufacturer maintenance requirements
vary greatly.
